MIARTALKS | Miart 8 – 10 April 2016

In 2016, In Between Art Film and miart collaborate to the production of the miartalks – a platform for round tables, conversations and interviews led by prestigious International speakers.
the 2016 miartalks brought together over 40 international artists, curators, filmmakers, directors of institutions, writers and professionals active in the field of the visual and performing arts, to discuss how time-based artistic practices are redefining the boundaries of contemporary art. A crossdisciplinary forum to explore the constantly moving dialogue between the worlds of art, film, music, theater and performance.

The 2016 Miartalks are curated by Ben Borthwick, artistic director of Plymouth Arts Centre (Plymouth, UK). Borthwick has developed an intense calendar of interdisciplinary conversations that will explore the current dialogue between the worlds of art, film, music, video and theater.
